Then, later on, they amend it without debate and public scrutiny with a demented scheme to charge utility customers by income to cover the cost of energy infrastructure so they can reduce the price for electricity usage, which will incentivize people to use 𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘦 electricity even as they’re also telling people to use 𝘭𝘦𝘴𝘴 electricity because the grid can’t cope now that they’ve undermined gas and nuclear. But actually, they do want you to use 𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘦 after all because everything has to be electrified because 𝘤𝘭𝘪𝘮𝘢𝘵𝘦.

Scotland Against Spin reports 3,272 wind turbine accidents; 164 caused 228 fatalities — only 200 more than all nuclear power fatalities, all caused by one inherently unsafe unlicensed reactor that was built and incompetently operated in a country that had neither safety culture nor licensing criteria.
Green zealots headline green new jobs. If there really were all the economic benefits of unreliable energy sources that zealots claim, investors would find them without the government needing to ban some sources and subsidize others.

Converting process heat applications to electricity before a carbon-free electricity system is in place will INCREASE CO2 emissions. Why? Because a gas-fired power plant is about 30% efficient, while a gas stove, furnace, or water heater is 90% efficient.

Offshore wind projects, and simply doing underwater surveying for them, is killing enormous numbers of whales. There have been 178 whale fatalities on US Atlantic beaches since big wind construction began in 2016, including severely-endangered North Atlantic Right Whales. There is no comprehensive quantitative system-engineering study of the impossible Great Green Energy Reset.
NOAA has granted 915 “Level B Incidental Take Authorizations” for North Atlantic Right Whales. Level B harassment includes behavioral disturbance (such as frightening an animal from its normal feeding area) and temporary hearing loss.
They have granted 118 “Level A” takes and are also in the process of granting 1,272 more for whales, porpoises, and seals. “Level A” includes permanent hearing loss or other bodily injury. A deafened whale fleeing into a shipping channel is likely a dead whale.
Is NOAA aware that only 334 North Atlantic Right whales are known to remain alive? They have granted three times more "take" authorizations than the number known to exist!
“Incidental Take Authorizations” are granted pursuant to high-resolution geophysical surveys, which involve intense sonar studies, driving thousands of monopiles into the ocean floor to mount 240 meter wind turbines, or digging undersea trenches for cables.
